I recommend being in somewhat of a caloric surplus while following this program so your body can utilize the nutrients to repair muscle tissue, and grow bigger muscles. There is no squat, bench, or deadlift programmed in; you can include those on your own if you’d like, but this is solely focused on putting the body in a hypertrophic state and setting the foundation.
